Salome is a character who was originally part of the script for "Blade Runner" but was ultimately cut from the final film. She was intended to be a replicant performer with snake-like movements, portrayed by actress Stacey Nelkin. Salome's scenes were shot but later removed during the editing process.
The character's removal was part of the directorial decisions made by Ridley Scott to streamline the film's narrative. While Salome is not present in the released version of "Blade Runner," her existence as a deleted character adds an interesting aspect to the film's production history.
