Alexei Navalny was a prominent Russian opposition leader, anti-corruption activist, and politician known for his fearless advocacy against corruption within the Russian government. Navalny died in Prison on the 16th February 2024 aged 47 and continues to be a symbol of opposition against corruption and authoritarianism in Russia. His resilience and outspoken activism earned him both national and international recognition and he remains a prominent symbol that challenges the status quo in Russian politics.
